My name is Heidi Elliott and I am the wife of Christopher and the mother to twin daughters, Hannah and Emma. We live in Indianapolis, IN, where we seek to " love our neighbor as ourselves" through various forms of neighborhood ministry and outreach.
I was a special education teacher for 5 years, and resigned after the birth of our daughters. Now, I am a SAHM who delights in serving my family and instructing our daughters in the ways of the Lord. We have chosen to home educate our daughters with the hopes of not only training them academically, but also of teaching them to become "future homemakers"!
My husband, Christopher, is a wonderful husband and father, who takes great delight in his children! He strives to live out the Great Commission by discipling his family and encouraging and equipping other fathers to do the same. He is a member of Christian Businessmen's Connection, which is a discipleship ministry for businessmen.
Our hope and vision as parents is to raise children who "love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength". To us, there will be no greater privilege than to see our children loving the Lord and serving Him in whatever capacity they are called to serve. In the near future, we hope to open our home to other children through foster care and adoption.
